Membership Information:

Why should you become a MOTA member?

Membership to the Maryland Occupational Therapy Association is an investment in your occupational therapy profession.

Membership has its benefits!

Members receive the bi-monthly MOTA newsletter; a membership directory; discounts on the annual MOTA conference; updates on educational, employment and volunteer opportunities; legislative representation; and contacts and networking opportunities throughout the year.

Committees are a terrific way to get involved with MOTA and your profession. We have committees for our annual MOTA conference, fund raising, legislation, membership, nominations and awards, and public relations. Check out our Organizational Structure for current positions open on MOTA's Board.

Re: Deducting MOTA membership dues from your taxes:

Although MOTA is a non-profit organization, because such a large percentage of our budget goes to pay for our lobbyist, dues are currently NOT deductible. However, as our membership increases this percentage will drop. So.......all the more reason to get more of your fellow OTs and OTAs to join!
